Monday, January 7: Integration #4 – Attendance is Mandatory Monday, January 21: Culminating Assignment Due – Attendance is Mandatory Wednesday, January 23: Last day of Placement (No Placement during Exams) Friday, January 25: All Log Sheets must be signed and submitted Friday, January 25: Final PPLP must be returned from Employer and signed by student along with comments.

7 5) Thank you letter A Thank You letter should be sent near the end of your time at your placement. Too often students do not realize the importance of a thank you letter and miss out on the opportunity to leave their placement on a great note. Your placement supervisor may be more prone to give you a reference letter (and a good one at that) if you show your appreciation for their time. Complete your Thank You letter, hand in your good copy to your placement supervisor and keep one for your portfolio.

8 5) Thank You Letter Write a thank-you letter to your work site supervisor and submit it before your final week of placement.

It was a valuable experience towards my future career. During my coop experience, I learned very important skills, such as safety, advertising, stock info, scanning gun and customer service and much more. I would like to express my gratitude to my co-workers that make my days so enjoyable. Once again, I thank you for this great experience in my future endeavors. I hope you will continue to support future students and develop their confidence in the workplace. Sincerely, (your signature)
