Motivating Deployment Study in Nairobi, Kenya evaluating the effect of two-way versus one-way SMS messaging on a pregnant woman’s engagement with the health system. The Mobile WaCH application is a web application that allows for bi-directional manual messages and prescheduled automated messages Possible Applications Messaging The underlying web application is built to adapt to different projects with a variety of messaging requirements. The system is easily deployable in different countries using a local SMS gateway. Medication reminders for chronic diseases. Two-way communication between health facilities. Public health awareness and notifications. Research study participant communication.
