3 Pathways - For Your Members
Make sure your existing and new members can access Base Camp. Have your members taken the assessment? Check to see if they have activated their path by utilizing Club Central’s “Pathways Enrolled” feature. Are they able to get into their selected path? Do they know how to give feedback/upload evaluations/check progress? Do they know where in Base Camp you can access additional help?

4 OOPS

5 Some Considerations Pair up individuals who have progressed further into their selection and have them mentor struggling members. Appoint a “Pathways Coach” to be the champion of your club (i.e. answer questions, advise other members, etc.) Take an “educational minute” to spend time covering various features of Pathways every meeting. (Ask someone if you need topics!) Explore/develop resources that will assist your clubs in being “Pathways Proficient!”

6 Some Resources To Explore…
District 4 Toastmasters - District 57 Toastmasters (Pilot District) - Facebook: The Official Toastmasters International Members Group - TOASTMASTERS Pathways Discussion Forum -

7 Pathways – Base Camp Managers
The Base Camp Manager Team: President Vice-President of Education Secretary Has the team been able to access Base Camp Manager view? Do you know how to access it? Do you know how to approve an external training request and a level completion request? Can you access reports on your members’ progress and help them achieve their goals? Do you know where to access additional help?

11 Some Considerations…. Base Camp Managers should discuss ways to communicate with each other when members submit completion requests and achieve awards. APPROVING THE LEVEL COMPLETION REQUEST AND SUBMITTING THE AWARD FOR CREDIT ARE TWO DIFFERENT ACTIONS! The Club Executive Team should set the example for the rest of the club. Give a speech (or two…or three…do four and evaluate someone to finish Level 1!) Work with your past officer team, form committees, and develop club resources.
