2. REQUIREMENTS Upgrade MMS or at least Configuration-Manager

3. Preparations Update Do a clean easescreen installation
Select all necessary files to update
For a major update select all files and folders except:
LOG, MEDIA, PLAN, UPDATER Directory
.ini Files (except you also want to change settings)
Users.bin
Create a .zip with all selected files

4. Preparations Upgrade
Separately from the .zip file, add one of the following files to the update.
product_key.txt containing the new key as you received it or
license_update.ini* requested at (* In X18 only available from versions or newer)

5. Update/Upgrade without MMS
Start the Configuration-Manager
Right-click and connect to the POV-Client
Select “Maintenance”→ “Update Software / Files”
Add the zip you have created to the update files
Deselect “Soft Restart”
Click on “Update”
POV-Client will reboot with new version

6. Update/Upgrade with MMS
Start the Configuration-Manager
Right-click and connect to the MMS
Go to “Properties” → “Clients”
Select all Clients you want to update
Right click on one of the selected Clients
“Update Software (via MMS)”
Add the zip you have created to the update files
Deselect “Soft Restart”
Click on “Update”
Close the “Properties” window
POV-Clients will reboot with new version
