7 Using Turnitin [edit as applicable…]
Submissions to Turnitin are made via UCL Moodle You will be able to view your Originality Report [Submissions are anonymised] [Your assignment grades will be available in Moodle] Feedback will be provided in [Moodle/paper copy/ ] Advice, support and a central submission service is available to all UCL students within the Plagiarism and academic writing Moodle course (available from the Moodle help menu): moodle.ucl.ac.uk

9 How can you use MyFeedback?
Compare feedback from across your modules;* Export feedback and grades to excel; Write notes about how to improve your future assessments – only your personal tutor can see your self-reflective notes; Use it in discussions with your personal tutor. *Turnitin feedback needs to be copied in to the report, as it can’t be shown automatically.

10 What feedback can you see?
Moodle Assignments (including offline and group assignments) Turnitin Assignments (linked only) Quizzes Workshops (for peer assessments) Manual grade items Moodle Assignments – with Turnitin integrated. In talks with a developer at RVC to add the coursework module to the report.

11 How do you access MyFeedback?
Log in to Moodle. Click the link in the MyFeedback block on the Moodle home page.

13 MyFeedback report – Overview tab
1 Assessment summary table functions – reset, export or print the table. 2 Academic year filter (current only). 3 Show/hide columns filter – show or hide the columns displayed in the table. 4 Column filters – filter each column for their respective values. Assessments with feedback and grades. Range. A /A* Responsive interface.

14 MyFeedback report – Feedback comments tab
1-3: See previous slide… 4 General Feedback column – displays general feedback from tutors. Nb. Turnitin feedback needs to be manually pasted by students. 5 Self-reflective notes column – Students can add self-reflective notes to individual assignments visible to Personal Tutors & Dept Administrators. 6 Full feedback – Link to contextualised feedback – e.g. quiz question feedback, Assignment comments. 7 Viewed column – indicates the date the student first viewed their full feedback within the Moodle course. General comments. General feedback. Personal tutors see the self-reflective notes. Viewed – 4 weeks maximum.

16 Who can use MyFeedback? Students can view feedback and grades from their own assessments. Personal tutors see their tutees' full MyFeedback reports. They can’t see the actual assessments on courses unless enrolled as a tutor. Module tutors and assessors see reports for their students containing assessment information for any modules they teach or assess. Departmental administrators see reports for all Moodle courses in a department.

17 Why can't I see all my grades and feedback in the MyFeedback report?
The MyFeedback 'Overview' tab shows information you see in each course gradebook: Settings block > Course Administration > Grades. Ask your module tutor or teaching administrator if you cannot see grades and/or feedback.

The [Social] forum is for students to use for non-academic conversations – staff may look in occasionally, but will not contribute The [weekly discussion] forum is for you to [share your thoughts on this week’s readings]. You are [encouraged/expected] to post here, and reply to each other [on a regular basis].

Collect together and present information, images, videos – perhaps as evidence of your key skills development.
