He finally had his opponent deported and finally assassinated in Mexico.
Once he came to power, He changed the idea of socialism based on Freedom and Equality.
It become one based on Fear and Oppression.

The Creation of Gulag (Prison Camps)
Use of secret police.
Purged all political enemies.
Collectivization of all farms.
Changing Russian History to show a communist past.

11. He Rejected All Capitalism. Individual Freedoms.
All opposing political parties.
He also is known for the Ukraine Famine.

Russia became a Perestroika, a liberal democracy.
