QPO Facilitated Faculty Led Institutional Review
Periodic Programme Review (PPR) Academic Area Review University Support Area Review Annual Programme Review Institutional Review Evidence-based identification and self-evaluation of issues (both positive and negative) at programme level, including programme Structure, Strategy, Sustainability, Resources Building on annual review, PPR enables programme teams to evaluate, comment upon and monitor the impact on their taught programmes of cumulative change (usually every 5 years), and to identify further opportunities for enhancement of the student learning experience Faculty Led QPO Facilitated Conducted at academic or support area level, these evidence-informed cyclical reviews (every 7 years) are based on a process of self-evaluation of unit strategy, organisation, management, scholarship & research, community & external relations. Self assessment is followed by an externally led peer review visit, and planned quality improvement as a result of peer recommendations
