TTA established 47 standards related to ITS including following WAVE standards
In Korea, frequency bands for WAVE technologies have not been allocated yet.
It is planned to review frequency allocation for WAVE in this year.

① USN based Telematics System: T-Sensor Network System Message Format (TTAK.KO /R1)

TTA PG 310(Vehicle ICT /ITS PG) established 2 standards during 2012.
② Data Exchange Protocol between Mobile Device and Vehicle based on XML (TTAK.KO )
specifying all technical requirements related to the protocol to be used between the vehicle mobile gateway and the mobile device to retrieve data from the vehicle's electronic systems connected to the vehicle mobile gateway based on XML

5. Strategic Direction
ITS is important technologies for providing not only convenience but safety.
Global standard and frequency harmonization are critical issues especially for countries with small domestic market.
Sharing related information and collaborating among GSC members are important to encourage technology development as well as global frequency harmonization.
GSC needs to offer opportunities to its members to discuss related issues including standard deveopment activities

6. Next Steps / Actions
TTA PG310 is working on standard development in the area of ITS systems including following study items
Automatic vehicle guidance system using IT infrastructure: Wireless MAC between Vehicles and the Road
BSM(Basic Safety Messages) for inter vehicle communications in autonomous driving
Requirements and Data Definition for In-Vehicle Signage
In addition, TTA PG310 will participate in the discussion on frequency allocation for WAVE in Korea
TTA is willing to share the progress/result of frequency allocation for WAVE
TTA will actively participate in AWG, ITU-R WP5A/5B and etc, to address international standardization in the scope of ITS
GSC should continue the activities on ITS TF and encourage its members to share related information
