The school’s student identification procedures for AIG are clear, equitable, and comprehensive and lead towards appropriate educational services. Standard 1:

3 Standard 2: Differentiated Curriculum and Instruction:
The school employs challenging, rigorous, and relevant curriculum and instruction K-8 to accommodate a range of academic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of gifted learners. Standard 2:

4 Standard 3: Personnel and Professional Development:
The school recruits and retains highly qualified professionals and provides relevant and effective professional development concerning the needs of gifted learners that is ongoing and comprehensive. Standard 3:

5 Standard 4: Comprehensive Programming within a Total School Community:
The school provides an array of K-8 programs and services by the total school community to meet the diverse academic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of gifted learners. Standard 4:

6 Standard 5: Partnerships:
The school ensures ongoing and meaningful participation of stakeholders in the planning and implementation of the local AIG program to develop strong partnerships. Standard 5:

7 Standard 6: Program Accountability:
The school implements, monitors, and evaluates the local AIG program and plan to ensure that all programs and services are effective in meeting the academic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of gifted learners. Standard 6:

8 NWEA scores: 98% and higher to immediately qualify in reading or math; 95% to qualify with other factors EOG scores from previous year Current and previous grades Teacher recommendation Cardinal’s Criteria:

9 Students identified using clear criteria; schedules created accordingly
AIG certified curriculum specialists will align curriculum to the standard course of study as well as ensure that enrichment activities are meaningful and appropriately challenging.
