5. What are some examples of the problem?
Teachers meet 3 days a week, but they do not really get down to planning together.
Meetings are more for things that need to get done admin wise, or for PD and provoking thinking.
Teachers feel overwhelmed and anxious.
They work on their own and not together to do their planning.
They do not have enough time to share resources.
The teams do not become a unit/family.
Specialist teachers are collaborating in units, but they are never in meetings with the grade level teams to communicate.
Six blocks are allocated per week for CMTs, but only 3 are being used.

6. The Result:
Teachers are feeling under constant pressure. Collaboration is not utilized to become a strength. Students are suffering because teachers are not of a positive happy mind due to unnecessary anxiety.

Building Community over 3 Grade Levels on Thursdays
