What I’m Learning:
This week our mentor text is The Three Little Pigs in reading. We are learning about questioning to gain information and text-to-self connections. We are practicing apostrophes in contractions. In writing, we are making connections and writing personal narratives.
Vocabulary:
Gobble: eat food quickly without chewing it very much
or make the sound a turkey makes.
Rude: not polite, not respectful of others.
Dash: run very quickly
Approach: move closer to someone or something Spelling
Terrible: very bad, horrible or awful they fame
Terrific: very good, wonderful or great his pave
