5. Context and Logistical Issues
Ms. Chou needs to do a lot of research, learning, and planning for this lesson. She first needs to learn about hypermedia and digital literacy. She also needs to learn how to create videos and websites. Ms. Chou should recognize that just because a lot of her students are “digital natives” not all of them are, and there could be some who are not as digitally advanced. She must also think about the expenses involved. Some students may not have recorders or cameras or the money to go out and buy these things to do the interviews. Some students may not even have a computer in their homes. Also, when it comes to the interview, there may be some students who cannot go to a certain place to interview the person. They could be from a one parent household where it may be hard for the parent to find time to drive their child to an interview.
