What has antlers, travels in herds, migrates to the tundra and has “toes” on their hooves? Caribou! We read many books about reindeer: fiction and non-fiction! We read Who will Guide My Sleigh and thought of other animals (besides reindeer) that could do the job! We have learned many interesting facts about reindeer and will work to write a paragraph telling about them. We read our own book about caribou and analyzed text for information. We had fun making our own reindeer and practiced the skills of alphabetical order, syllables, and sentence writing. We practiced very hard for our holiday program!
