Generates AAA-117 on 2d to 5th working day of the month prior to the promotion month and provide to unit CDR within 1 working day Unit Commander Reviews, initials and signs the Enlisted Advancement Report (AAA 117) then forwards it to S1 for action. Key Players: S1 Company Commander Battalion Commander 1SG CSM BN Cdr must sigh the enlisted Advancement report as the reviewing authority for Soldiers who are recommended for promotion to SPC with waiver Review the Enlisted Advancement Report (AAA 117) to determine Soldier eligibility and waiver allocations Is Soldier fully eligible for promotion during the projected promotion month? No Is Soldier fully eligible for advancement with a waiver? No No Action Required Company Commander provides a DA 4187 blocking promotion, a DA 268 (FLAG) and a copy of soldier counseling as to the reason for his declination for promotion NLT 19th of the Month. Yes Yes Submit an eMilpo transaction with code (PA) to block automatic promotion NLT 19th of the month preceding the month of automatic promotion. No Did Unit Commander concur with Promotion by circling “Yes” and “Initial”? Did Unit Commander concur with Promotion by circling “Yes” and “Initial”? Yes Yes Prepare and sign each DA to execute promotions to PV2, PFC when not completed by unit CDR. BN CDR must sign 4187 for promotion to SPC with Waiver Prepare and sign each DA 4187 to execute promotions to PV2, PFC, and SPC when not completed by unit CDR. The Flag must be closed using Flag code PE no later than the 2nd working day following the date the Soldier would have been automatically promoted. eMilpo will automatically promote Soldier Process Grade Change transaction on eMilpo
