2 Conduct Conduct- (noun) behavior
After the teacher told the kid to stop standing in the desk, he said, “Your conduct is unacceptable!” Conduct-(verb) to control or manage something You should know how to conduct yourselves when walking through the hallway while other classes are in session.

3 Conscientious Conscientious- (adj) working hard and careful to do things well Carrie is a conscientious worker who completes every task.

4 Considerate Considerate- (adj) placing other people’s needs and feelings ahead of your own Considerate people always hold the door open for others.

5 Etiquette Etiquette- (noun) a set of rules about the proper and polite way to behave In a proper dating relationship, it is considered good etiquette to open doors for the female.

6 Incentive Incentive- (noun) something that encourages someone to do something or work harder The first grade teacher knew her students would behave well for an incentive as simple as a star sticker.

7 Oblivious Oblivious- (adj) being totally unaware of something
How could the rich man be oblivious to the hungry man asking him for a dollar?

8 Refrain Refrain- (verb) to stop yourself from doing something that you want to do To avoid a punishment, I am going to refrain from talking back to my mother

9 Uncivil Uncivil- (adj) to be rude or impolite
People who lose their tempers in public are considered highly uncivilized.
