5 Requesting Enrollment
Review Selected Courses: LIST HOW STUDENTS REVIEW WISE COURSE INFO AT YOUR SCHOOL (website, listserv message, etc) Visit the WISE site and review the course details and enter your request Permission verified with SCHOOL NAME : After your request is entered on the website, WISE will verify your permission to enroll with SCHOOL ADMIN NAME AND CONTACT

3) Select the appropriate semester and click on “View Classes” Once you are logged in, select the semester you are interested in and click on View Classes

4) Click on “View Details” next to the course you are interested in Then click on “view details” next to the course you are interested in. Review the details carefully, paying attention to course dates, residencies, synchronous sessions, and prerequisites. Then click on Request Enrollment in This Class. Be sure to have your SUID number on hand for this step.

5) Review the details and course disclaimer and click on “Request Enrollment in This Class” Then click on “view details” next to the course you are interested in. Review the details carefully, paying attention to course dates, residencies, synchronous sessions, and prerequisites. Then click on Request Enrollment in This Class. Be sure to have your SUID number on hand for this step.

10 Submit the Request 6) Enter your information and click on “Submit” Please rank you request if you are requesting multiple courses for one semester. Enter your information and click on submit. Use an address which you check frequently, as this will be your primary contact with your host school and with WISE. addresses are sent to the host school for course purposes but will not be shared for any other reasons. Your request has been entered and you will hear back from WISE at the end of the priority enrollment period, or within 1 business day if the enrollment deadline has passed.

11 Enrollment Request Deadlines
These courses fill quickly! Request enrollment before the deadlines below for the best chance at getting into your first choice. Spring Semester : November 20 Summer Semester: March 25 Fall Semester: April 20 For Spring, the deadline is November 20. For summer it is March 20, and for Fall it is April 25. Enter your request by the priority request deadline for the best chance of being accommodated in your first-choice WISE course. These courses have limited capacity and high demand.

Availability in WISE courses is based on number of seats available to the entire consortium, rather than a specific number available to Syracuse students, so there is no waitlist for these courses in the SU registration system. When you request enrollment on the WISE site, you will be informed by WISE if you have been accepted into the course . If a course is full, you will be automatically placed on the waitlist. WISE will contact you if a seat becomes available prior to the enrollment deadline. Contact to be removed from the waitlist. Remaining on the waitlist does not oblige you to take a seat in the course if one becomes available. Course Tools: Close to the start date of the course, you will receive course tool login information from the school hosting your WISE course. Feel free to contact WISE at any time if you are unsure if communication from your host school is legitimate. At the end of the course, grades will be sent by the host institution to the WISE Director, who then forwards them to the appropriate registrar liaison at SCHOOL NAME for posting. Allow 2 weeks from the end date of the course for grades to be available.
