2. Important Dates
August 31 Popcorn Pre-Order Deadline! Enter your order on the Trails- End website and turn in your Pre-Order Unit Master to Leisa O’Brien at the Council office by p.m. Unit Master can be ed to me at MUST be ordered in full case quantities.
September 19/20 Pre-Order Delivery/Distribution. Registration for pick up will be sent to you via . When you receive that , please register for your pick up time.
September 22 SALE STARTS
October 30 Orders due in Trails-End website AND the Unit Master turned in to Leisa O’Brien at the Council office by 5 pm. to:
Please make sure Scouts first AND last name are used on the Unit Master! After you have entered your popcorn order, be sure to order your prizes at that time.

3. Important Dates
November 15 Popcorn Delivery to drop sites. If you volunteer to help sort orders, you may take your units order with you. Contact your District Executive to volunteer.
November 16 Popcorn Pick up Day! Register prior to November 15 on the Council website for your pick-up time.
Through December 4 Scouts deliver popcorn and collect money. Unit holds report meeting to collect all money and forms from Scouts.
DECEMBER 5 Units remit Council's share of proceeds in ONE CHECK to the Council Office or Western Service Center Office.
   
December 31 Please, make sure all Scholarship forms and a copy of the sales forms are turned in to Leisa O’Brien at the Council Office so that they can be submitted to Trails-End.

4. Popcorn PRE-ORDER
Order product to have on hand before the sale starts. (Chocolate products NOT available for pre-order) Must order in full case quantities.
Assign each Scout product and track with check-out form. Have Scout parent sign “Family Popcorn Check-Out” form. You keep the form.
Have Scouts turn money in to you before more product is given out.
There is an excel format pre-order tracking form that is available on the Council website.

5. Prize Program * Prizes by Keller Marketing
* Place your prize order after you enter your final popcorn order.
* Units choosing the commission instead of prizes still need to order bonus prizes and a patch!

7. Ideal Year of Scouting
It’s important to have your meetings and activities planned for your Scout year prior to recruitment and popcorn sale.
Share your plans with potential scouts and their families for recruitment purposes.
Share plans with current scouts and their families so they all know what the Scout is working toward with his popcorn sale. Parent support and “buy in” is very important!

11. Set up Scout ID’s for Online Sales
If a Scout doesn’t have an online account, obtain parents address and set it up for them! Keep a ledger of Scout ID’s and log in info. This can also be done during your Unit Kick Off.
Send Scout ID home with business cards for them to hand out.
You can track each Scout’s online sales through the Trails-End website!

If each Scout sells $600, our total sale will reach 1 MILLION!!!! And we will have a Council celebration and special 1 Million patches for all Scouts that make it happen!
