In the first project (2006–2008) attention was focused on the scientific reasoning of database principles, objectives, targets, the selection and implementation of information system, as well as the initial contents of the database The second stage (2009–2010) was devoted to consolidate researchers’ competences The third stage (2011–2014) concentrates on database development, testing of new review methods, implementing modern ICT, seeking integration with other information systems

10 Current period tasks (2011–2014)
Accumulate research information on Lithuanian studies, assuring high quality of works accessing to the database Assure comprehensive, integrated data about Lithuanian studies and accumulation of open full-text documents and other criteria, determining the quality of the database Assure the integration of the database into international e-space of research information and the dissemination of the Lithuanian studies as a part of world knowledge Clear up the general information and database development needs of HSS users Develop the e-information management competences of HSS researchers and students Create a citation index, allowing to apply bibliometrical methods Assure legality of the database
