4 WHY SHOULD WE TEACH STUDENTS ABOUT GROWTH MINDSET?
Research shows that when students adopt a growth mindset, their achievement scores increase and they deal better with adversity. Just like a child learning a new language or how to play an instrument, the earlier this is learned, the easier it is to master the skill and remember in adolescence and adulthood.

5 WHY should WE AS EDUCATORS LEARN ABOUT GROWTH MINDSET?
Teacher mindset influences student’s test scores and attitude towards learning. Rheinberg (2000), measured the effect of teacher mindset on student achievement. He found that teachers with a growth mindset helped their low achieving students improve their grades to become moderate or even high achievers. Conversely, he found that low achieving students who had teachers with fixed mindsets on average remained low achievers.
