Choose interviewers Choose interviewees Decide the levels of interviews Decide the length of interviews Decide what you will ask Know what not to ask Schedule the interviews Establish a comfortable atmosphere Decide how you will rate performance Decide who will do what Decide what information you will give

4 Decide what the interview will entail
After the interview: Check references Offer the position to your first choice After a candidate accepts, call other interviewees Send a letter to those who weren't interviewed Send the new employee employment terms and (possibly) a contract
