2. Wrap up
Great level of interest = at least 22 agencies or institutes represented  well over 50 people on site + 6 remote attendees over 4 days
At the first workshop, the focus was given to the GIRO and the preparation of the data
This time, we addressed many more aspects:
Measurements campaigns from ground with a large variety of instruments,
Traceability,
New satellites datasets,
Lunar data preparation
Evolution of the ROLO/GIRO/GLOD and new developments in the field of lunar models for calibration purposes,
Inter-calibration but also inter-band calibration,
Post-launch instrument characterization such as MTF estimation, cross-talk or ghost
And some other alternative uses of lunar data in the microwave range.

3. Wrap up A lot of interactions and discussions
Some questions were addressed at the first workshop and were again discussed here, such as the estimation of the oversampling factor estimation
The GIRO and GLOD licence agreement has been discussed and hopefully clarified.
Further effort is required:
Data from the ground-based campaigns need to be further processed and analysed
Pursue the efforts on running such campaigns
The traceability of the GIRO to the ROLO needs to be finalized
Calculation of the observables for the GIRO and proper uncertainty assessments
Pursuing the efforts on inter-calibration / inter-band calibration
Pursuing the efforts on exploring further the use of lunar images from instruments in space. More capabilities (not only on the radiometry) will reinforce further the need for instruments in space to look at the Moon, even when manoeuvers are involved

4. Achievements to date
A first iteration of the benchmark to establish the traceability of the GIRO to the ROLO is ready
Lunar calibration gathers many instrument and calibration experts to share experience and knowledge to move the Lunar Calibration Community forward
New activities (MTF) are taking place and can reinforce the links established between GSICS and CEOS WGCV IVOS

5. What’s next? Next obvious iteration = GSICS annual meeting
Minutes / summary of the workshop to be communicated to CEOS-IVOS + people who showed interest
