To be aware of horticulture activities in the region
To appoint up to three country/region representatives on the Council of the ISHS
Through the representatives on Council, to meet with representatives of other member countries and regions
To provide the framework for scientific organizations within the region to organize ISHS sanctioned international symposia and conferences
(To have the possibility) to host the bi-annual meeting of the ISHS Council, the annual ISHS Executive Committee meeting and/or the every fourth year organized International Horticultural Congress. Applications will be considered during its meetings by the Council.
To contribute to policy discussions of the ISHS and to elect the Board of Directors.
