This slide represents the percentage of students in grades 3-5 at Crocker who were proficient last year in the areas of literacy and math on the Iowa Assessments. These are the percentages we report to the Iowa Department of Education on an annual basis, and are the scores we are held accountable for with the federal No Child Left Behind legislation.
Our goal will always be to have 100% of our students reach proficiency and achieve at their greatest academic potential.

Mini Lesson Application Sharing
This is the instructional framework we use in literacy and math. The mini lesson is where we pull students together and teach a very focused lesson around an important standard.
During the application time, we can work with individual students and in small groups to differentiate their learning.
At the sharing time we pull students back together to reflect on our learning and give students an opportunity to share their thinking.
