1 Scriptural Baptism

2 Act 2:37  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

3 Communion 25 You see, there are three things that we must—three things that we must do as symbols: the Lord’s supper, feet-washing, water baptism. See?

4 Communion 27 But to you and I who know that we should be baptized, and refuse to do it, then that’ll be between you and God. Same thing in communion!

5 Communion And so is water baptism an ordinance; so is feet-washing an ordinance; so is the Lord’s supper an ordinance. “Blessed is he that does all of His ordinance, keeps all of His statutes, all of His commandments, that he might have a right to enter into the Tree of Life.”

6 65-0221E - Who Is This Melchisedec?
112 Now we see here plainly the complete secret of our lives in journey, and death, and where we go after we die. Also, predestination is in plain view here. Now listen as we teach this, closely. 113 The stages of—of the Eternal purpose He had in His secret has now been revealed. Notice, there is still three stages to perfection. Just like He redeems the world; same way He redeems His Church.

7 65-0221E - Who Is This Melchisedec?
First is justification, like Luther preached; second, sanctification, like Wesley preached; third, baptism of the Holy Ghost. That’s right. Then comes the Rapture!

8 65-0221E - Who Is This Melchisedec?
114 Now, the world, how did He redeem the world? The first, what He did, when it sinned, He washed it off in water baptism. That’s right. Then He dropped His Blood upon it, from the cross, and sanctified it and called it His Own. And then what does He do? As He tore all the world out of you, and renovated the whole thing by the fiery baptism of the Holy Ghost, He also will renovate the world.

9 65-0221E - Who Is This Melchisedec?
115 The natural birth is in three. What’s the first thing happens to the woman having a baby? What breaks first? Water. What breaks next? Blood. What’s the next process? Life. Water, blood, spirit.

10 Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

11 1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

12 Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

13 Rev 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

14 Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

15 Mar 1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

16 Joh 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

17 Act 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

18 Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

19 Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

20 Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

21 Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

22 Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

23 Luk 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

24 Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

25 Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

26 Luk 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

27 Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

28 Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

29 Act 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

30 Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord
Act 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

31 Act 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized
Act 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

32 Act 16:30  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.  32  And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.  33  And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

33 184 On the Day of Pentecost, they said, “What must we do to be saved?”
M - Conference With God 183 So now, you dear people that raised your hands, the next step for you to take, if you haven’t been baptized, is to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for remission of your sins. That’s the doctor’s prescription, Doctor Simon Peter, who had the keys to the Kingdom, and to tell you how to enter. 184 On the Day of Pentecost, they said, “What must we do to be saved?”

34 59-1220M - Conference With God
185 He said, “Repent, every one of you.” That’s what you just done. “Then be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins,” to show to the people, and the world, that you believe (death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ) He took your sins. “Then you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, to them that are far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Follow that instruction.

35 M - Why? Peter never said, “This is just a prescription for today.” It’s a prescription to your children, and to your children’s children, and to them that’s far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. That prescription worked on them. That prescription worked on me. That prescription will work on you. That’ll prescription will work on everyone that the Lord God calls.

36 Galatians 1:8, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
