2 Implications Of The Invitation
Matthew 11:28-30

3 The Sinner Is To Come To Christ (v. 29)
Different action than most modern religious thought Man must come to Christ (Jn. 5:40) Holy Spirit and church invite (Rev. 22:17) The lost person CAN come to Christ (Jn. 6:44-45) The sinner will come when he realizes need Lost in sin and in danger (Jn. 8:24) Needs to be done now in view of judgment to come (Matt. 11:20-24)

4 Christ Offers What The Lost Person Needs (v. 28-29)
He offers rest from the burden of sin Forgiveness through His blood (Eph. 1:7) Forgiveness brings a removal of the burden (Heb. 10:22) He offers a “yoke” It is not of sin, but of service to God The responsibility of spiritual service is enjoined (Rom. 12:1-2)

5 One May Learn The Truth (v. 29)
The Lord is the way, truth, and the life (Jn. 14:6) Our relationship to truth is a major factor of discipleship (Jn. 8:31-32) The gospel is unto salvation (Rom. 1:16) First spoken by the Lord (Heb. 2:1-4) It will build us up and give us an inheritance (Acts 20:32; 1 Peter 1:3-5)
