1 Why Must God Send Some People to Hell? Introduction. Matthew 25:31-46 I. “The hand of the Lord will be against you…” (I Samuel 12:14-15).  Because sin is a horrible thing. II. “With the precious blood of Christ” (I Peter 1:17-19).  Because the blood of Jesus was a precious thing.

2 Why Must God Send Some People to Hell? III. “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” (Genesis 18:20-26).  Because God is just. IV. “Having made known to us the mystery of His will” (Eph 1:7-10; Rev 13:8).  Because God has offered salvation to man. V. “…God, who cannot lie” (Titus 1:1-3).  Because God cannot lie.

3 Why Must God Send Some People to Hell? VI. “Not for ours only but also for the whole world” (1 John 2:1,2; Matt 18:11-14).  Not because He does not love man. VII. “Not willing that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9).  Not because He wants to. VIII. “What will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel?” (1 Peter 4:17-18).  Because only those who choose to be lost, will be lost.
