5. We share in one mission
" There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." Corinthians 12

6. WE ARE ONE BODY
"If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body...
...that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it...."

7. Ownership
Nearly everything around you is owned by someone or some group....
Who owns . . .
. . . the desk you are sitting at?
. . . the streets?
. . . your house?
. . . electricity?
. . . food?
. . . your school?
What are some other things you use everyday, but you don't own?
What are things your parents own that you use?

8. Our Rights . . .
Everyone has the right to own property and to have their property safe from theft, damage, and destruction.
These rights are protected by the 7th Commandment: Thou Shall Not Steal.

9. What does this mean? We must respect the property of others.
We cannot:
Take our use things without permission
Damage or destroy property
Illegally download or copy something against the owners purpose
Cheat on our work
Borrow money with intentions not to pay back
Claim to own something that is not ours
Sell something that is not ours
Accept anything that is stolen (even if we did not steal it)
Borrow things we don't intend to return

10. Borrowing & Lending
We borrow things all the time! It is important to remember to take care of things we borrow, and treat them with great respect.
We must also return them in the time we promised.
It is a great act of charity to lend your things to help a neighbor.
How do we feel when someone damages something we loan them?
What are things we often borrow?
What would happen to the library if everyone spilled on and ripped the books?
What would happen if no one returned their items to the library?
What if the DVDs everyone rented became scratched?

11. The Cardinal Virtues
Temperance Prudence Fortitude Justice

12. Temperance
The virtue of moderating pleasures. One with temperance has self discipline and does not abuse food, alcohol, and other created goods.

13. Prudence
The virtue of recognizing the good and the best way of attaining it. One with the virtue of prudence will use reason to discern the best way to act in a given circumstance.

14. Fortitude
Fortitude, or courage, consists in perservering toward the good in the face of difficulties. One with the virtue of fortitude will overcome temptations and obstacles in order to do good.

15. Justice
The virtue of giving God and neighbor what they deserve. One with the virtue of justice respects the rights of others.
