8. MSHSL Staff Provide Support
Staff members regularly communicate with schools.
Interpret Bylaws and Policies
Answer questions and provide advice
Provide training for administrators

9. Transfer and Eligibility
Most frequently questioned and applied bylaw
If a student transfers schools, we rely on bylaws and policies to grant varsity eligibility.
Cannot gain eligibility through a transfer.
Multiple layers of review.

10. Proposed Amendments
One Year of Varsity Ineligibility From the Most Recent Move (eliminate consecutive one year ineligibilities for multiple transfers)
Foreign Students – Grant additional years of eligibility at junior varsity or lower.
Separated (but never married) Parents – treated similar to divorce.
