2 SX in Review Programming Overview
Year 1 of the AOA 5 year SX Plan Year 1 - Integrate SX/terrain into U12 SOD series, train more track builders, coaches and officials Terrain was integrated into 4 U12 races (3 SOD, 1 invitational), 8 clubs participated in builder session and 20 coaches and 19 officials were trained at Calabogie camp

3 SX in Review Competition Highlights
Over 100 athletes participating in SO series and OWG event this season Alpine #1, #2, Craigleith, Devil’s Glen Canada is winning Olympic Medals! 3rd overall in Men’s and Women’s Nations Cup Champions

Year 2 - Integrate terrain as an event on all U12 calendars in all divisions, publish a AOA SX pathway for clubs to integrate into all age groups Jan 26 SX World Cup Blue Mountain Jan SX NorAm Blue Mountain Jan SX AOA Training Camp March U16 Canada Winter Games

Focus is on improving technique and aiding skill development as part of an alpine program Year #2 of five year plan Terrain racing in all divisions in U12 Regular racing, with terrain on hill similar to Devil’s Glen in suitable areas Possibility of SOD Cup calendar shortening Keep kids engaged with variable environments Looking forward to year 3, incorporating terrain into U14 calendar in SOD SOD cup vs OCUP

ACA Progression table Blue Mountain Development project (Jan 29-30th, 2019) Learning opportunity for athletes and coaches Be exposed to the highest level of SX racing and learn on the job Use of track as an environment, and all U19 kids will be able to participate in Nor-Am On escarpment training opportunity
