9. EXTERNAL EVALUATION
Evaluation of the programme was entrusted to
M/s. Pricewaterhouse Coopers. The consultants have submitted the evaluation report and the same is being considered by the Government.

11. ISSUES FOR CONSIDERATION
A) Enhancement of food grain transportation
charges for the hilly areas from Rs 75/- to
Rs 93/- and Rs 75/- to Rs 83/- for other areas may be
considered
B) At present the GOI is adjusting the cost of rice
to FCI directly. The same procedure may be
continued.
