Reminders
Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests.
Objectives: 
Reading; This week we will complete our unit on narrative nonfiction and introduce poetry.
Language: Students will learn about synonyms and antonyms, and continue with capitalization/punctuation.
Writing: Poetry - "Poets write poems about anything and everything“.
Spelling Words: roast, golden, road, cold, grow, hold, low, follow, coach, odor, foam, below
Math: We will continue to focus on adding and subtracting numbers in a variety of ways. PLEASE practice addition and subtraction facts daily at home. Problem Solving - Daily
Science: Students will study forces and motion this week.
Social Studies: We will finish Historical figures and Veterans Day activities.
Conference Time: 1:30-2:25
Upcoming Events:
If you plan on attending the field trip on Nov. 15th, PLEASE complete a criminal history background check. They must be completed EACH year. Information can be found on the Fort Bend ISD website. Permission slips went home Friday, Nov. 2nd.
