1 Graduating Senior Survey Summary of Results 2007-08

2 There were 4,460 Bachelor’s degrees awarded in the 2007-08 year.
Graduating Senior Survey was administered on paper and on-line. 1,455 graduates completed the Graduating Senior Survey during the year. 946 graduates completed the paper version of the survey. 509 graduates completed the survey online The response rate was 33%. Response rates vary greatly by college. On-line survey allowed students to indicate dual majors. 66 students reported graduating with dual majors.

3 *Graduating Senior Survey is administered to students who apply for graduation. Actual number of degree recipients may be less than number of applicants, resulting in response rate greater than 100% of degree recipients for some colleges.

Graduates gave the highest ratings to FAU’s contribution to: the ability to work with a team or group the ability to critically evaluate information the ability to follow through on projects to completion openness to new ideas and practices the ability to give effective oral presentations
