3 2018 Highlights Excellent results on National Stage by Dinghy sailors
Mobile Sailing Program hit the road again after a one year hiatus New Yacht Database was launched Sail NS hosted a very successful Sailing Conference in November Clubs received grants totalling more than $20,000 to launch new programs and get more people on the water RNSYS Coaches filled in very well while Provincial Coach Lisa Ross was on maternity leave Launch of Team Racing was a big hit with sailors and coaches Excellent participation numbers at dinghy regattas

4 Provincial Sport Development Tool
Every 4 years the Province evaluates all sports in the province based on the following: - Organizational Effectiveness - Participation - Coaching / Officiating - Excellence (High Performance) While overall rankings have not yet been released Sailing does expect to be in the top 5. In 2019 we will see an increase in funding of $11,000 and in and through 2023 we will see an increase of $21,000 mostly in the Excellence area. Sail Nova Scotia reviewed our results with our Sport Consultant and are beginning to set outcomes based on our results.
