6. GDL- LIBRARY Information on GDL objects:
GDL = Geometric Description Language
GDL objects are objects that include not only the product in 3D form but also product and quantity information with minimal space requirements.
Designer can use GDL objects in ArchiCAD environment and also in a large variety of other international CAD environments.
GDL object is very close to the real appearance of your product which also helps the designers in visualizing. A product manufacturer can store any product information into a product information section.
GDL object can store information on different surface materials and component selection in order to illustrate the designer of different options.

7. WITH GDL OBJECTS THE DESIGNER CAN MODEL THE KATRIN PRODUCTS TO THE SPACE IN 3D FORMAT
Designer chooses the right product from GDL-library. The whole group of products can be placed to the model with one object, if needed. The products place themselves automatically in the right positions as regards their installation heights and reciprocal placement.
