2 Due Date Essential Question
The following 2 assignments are due: Monday November 26th Essential Question Extensive Research (Last few pages of notes packet)

3 Objectives To extensively research 3 Cold War topics in preparation for the body paragraph draft. To use the essential question in finding extensive facts about my 3 topics.

4 What is Extensive Research?
When the student uses his or her essential question to guide more in- depth research on the 3 sub-topics. Try to use different websites from the ones used during preliminary research. Example: Main topic=Cold War People Subtopics= Harry Truman, Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh Essential Question: How have three individuals changed the course of human history through the Cold War?

5 Classes 804 and 806 Extensive Notes Requirement
Hand-write 5-7 additional facts on each of the 3 sub-topics that were assigned to you (Between facts total) If you were assigned: Harry Truman, Alger Hiss, George Marshall you need 5-7 facts per person.

6 Class 802 Extensive Notes Requirement
Hand-write 8-10 additional facts for each of the 3 sub- topics (Between facts total) Select 3 topics from your list of people, events or decisions. These will be the 3 topics you will extensively research. These 3 topics will be your body paragraphs

7 Sample Extensive Notes Page
Write your essential question at the top of the page. Write your first body paragraph subtopic name. Write your facts in a numbered list. Write the sources (Websites in parenthesis).
