2. Johns Hughes Information John Hughes was born on February 18 th, 1950 in Lansing Michigan. He moved to Chicago, Illinois with his family at the age of 13. He graduated from Glenbrook North High School in 1968. Went on to attend Arizona State, but later on dropped out. He was married to Nancy Ludwig,who was Hughes' high-school sweetheart.
