What are we studying……. Reading~ Thanksgiving Books Read Aloud~ Charlie & the Chocolate Factory Language~ Nouns (Common/Proper; Possessive; sigular/plural Writing~ How to… Math~ Addition & Subtraction Strategies Social Studies~ Lewis & Clark; Sacagawea Word Study Words Students will be tested Friday. These words do NOT follow a pattern. These are some of the most frequent words used in writing and cannot be sounded out. WEEK 14 BLENDS~ bl-, cl-, fl- black blast blush blob block blimp flag flip flop flap flash flick clock clip clog club clown clap *Visit for more phonics practice! Sight Words Students will be tested Friday. Students will have to say each word instantly, without sounding them out. They will not have to write them face watch far Indian really almost mountain important night white Homework Daily: Reading passage (1min) Monday: Math Sheet and Word Work sheet Tuesday: Math Sheet and Word Work sheet Wednesday: Family Night (No Homework) Thursday: : Math Sheet and Study Word Work list & sight words for test tomorrow. Children’s Book Week 2018 “Super Readers Make Super Leaders” November , 2018 Thursday, November 15: Super Reader Book Voting! Students may wear Super Hero shirts and uniform bottoms for our Super Reader Book Voting. Friday, November 16: Join the Super Reader Good Book Characters! : Children’s Book Character Parade 9 am. Parents are invited to attend. Specials SD5 – Tuesday (Art) SD1 – Wednesday (Music) SD2 – Thursday (PE) SD3 Friday (Technology) SD4– Monday (PE) Nov. 26th *Please wear gym shoes on the day your child has PE.
