4. The Venezuelan Culture
Wonderful human beings
Languages: Spanish, Guajiro, Warao, Pemón and others
Venezuela’s Gastronomy (Food): Arepas, Hallacas y Pabellón Criollo
Traditional music: Joropo and Gaita Zuliana
Religion: around 92% of the Venezuelan population is Catholic
Festivities: 20 in total, examples: La Virgen Chinquiquira Day, Day of the Dead, All Saints Day etc.
Sport: Baseball and Soccer

6. How does my cultural self influence my present choices?
Norms and Values: Respect, Responsibility, Hard Work, Love and Spirituality (Religion)
Examples: Responsibility: School decisions and getting a job
Past experiences >>> made me learn and make better choices/decisions
Example: Getting Drunk and Heartbreaks

7. How does it influence my personality type?
Personality type: Type 9 >>> The peacemaker
In my culture, Venezuelans are considered peaceful and passive human beings, not all but most of them.
In my family the right way to solve an issue is by, taking it easy and peacefully with no arguments, fights or any type of aggression
My parents brought me up in such way >>> For Generations

8. How does it influence my multiple intelligences?
3-4 Top Multiple Intelligences:
(1) Intrapersonal >>> Both of my parents taught me how to love and respect myself (Dad)
(2) Kinesthetic >>> Both of my parents are athletes (bodybuilders and mountain biker), they taught me the best way to be healthy is by being active
(3) Linguistic >>> Being born and raised in a multi-lingual environment
(4) Interpersonal >>> I come from a humble family, even though we don’t have much we tend to help others in need

9. How does it influence my emotional intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence: Being aware, in control and able to manage my own emotions and those of others
Understanding myself (goals, intentions, responses and behavior): My parents and family were always supportive of my opinions and decisions, they encouraged me a lot to accomplish what I want by being myself
Understanding others and their feelings: Both my parents taught me to respect others opinions and feelings, because I may hurt others

10. How does it influence my current beliefs and life perceptions?
I grew up in a Catholic family, believers of God, the Virgen Mary and the Virgen of Chinquiquira
I personally believe only in God, the great creator
My parents taught me to always say “Bendición” to my elder family members (Parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts etc.)
I did my First Communion
