1. How do we inform the public about a tornado?
AF3 - describe the distribution of tornadoes
AF3 & 4 -  describe & explain how processes occur 
AF4 - explain how management can reduce the impacts

2. You are going to create a fictional tornado news report.
This could be on your
own or in pairs.
Lesson 1: Write a script
that informs the audience on the tornado.
Lesson 2: It will then be
filmed, in front of a green screen.
What to include:
Describe your location (must be somewhere in Tornado Alley)
Explain (as simply as possible) how the tornado formed.
Describe the impacts (what people should be ready for)
Explain what they can do to prepare and protect themselves

3. Newspaper role play
We will use this ‘green screen’ app to film your news reports in front of a tornado.
