Grades & Assignments * Correcting assignments * Make-up work * Late work * Tests Jillian All assignments that are scored below a 70 (minus late work) may be corrected for up to a 70. Students are allowed one day per missed day to make up work when absent. If students are going to miss several days due to illness, please try to contact your child’s teachers to get some of their makeup work prior to their return. Students will still be allowed the time to make up their assignments, but getting a head start once they start to feel better will ease anxiety and stress upon their return. Late work- 10 points deducted per day for up to 3 days and then the assignment is a zero Tests- students will be assessed throughout various units to identify mastery. District benchmarks are in November. Tests can also be corrected for up to a 70.

5 Behavior & Parent Communication
* Dojo * Communication Chart * Positive Reinforcement * Class Rewards Rebecca Our grade level is using Dojo for positive reinforcement There aren’t negative points for dojo- unless your child has “spent” points on rewards then those points are deducted or “spent” For behavioral concerns, we are using a behavior communication chart that your child keeps in their binder. This helps us identify your child’s conduct grade for each 9 weeks. The back of the paper is an academic record for missing or late assignments. PAWS and PBIS rewards- pink tickets, yellow tickets, paws stamps and class rewards Independent rewards- spending dojo points approximately every other week
