Remember: if you see “court or police, but they are not the ones infringing the rights it is not automatically legal rights

The things that allow you to shape who you are (freedom of thought, belief, religion, opinion, and expression. Freedom to associate with who you want. Freedom of peaceful assembly.

Mobility (force to live in a residential School), Fundamental Freedoms (forced to follow Catholicism, forced to speak English, forced to act “white”. Equality: Racial discrimination. Legal/Equality: Beaten, abused, etc.

25 5 - $400 Despite obvious equality right infringements of bars in Calgary, they are able to get away of it because of this… Private Business are able to decide who they want or do not want in their establishment despite of the reasoning.

26 5 - $500 Our government has apologized for many of the discriminations of their past (internment camps, residential schools, etc.) , Justin Trudeau is currently working on an apology to this discriminated group LGBTQ, more specifically non- heterosexuals. Yes, I know we didn’t go over this in class, but read/watch the news once and a while!
