2 Pictures of Lady Diana Lady Diana was born Diana Frances Spencer on July 1, 1961, in a rented house on the royal estate at Sandringham, Norfolk. She was educated at Riddlesworth Hall, Norfolk, and West Heath School in Kent. After attending finishing school in Switzerland, she shared a house, with three woman friends and worked as a kinder garden teacher. Starting in the mid-to-late 1980s, the Princess of Wales became well known for her support of charity projects. This stemmed naturally from her role as Princess of Wales -- she was expected to engage in hospital visiting and to assume the patronage of a variety of charitable organizations -- and from a personal interest in certain illnesses and areas. Owing to PR efforts in which she agreed to appear as a figurehead, Diana is credited with some influence in the campaign against the use of landmines and with helping to decrease discrimination against victims of AIDS . Diana went to see Mother Theresa, not just for an honor state visit, but also to help her and touch Charity work by her own hands. She helped the victims of Aids When she met Mother Teresa

3 Renewed contact with the British royal family led to the announcement, on February 24, 1981, of her engagement to Charles, Prince of Wales, the heir to the throne. On July 29, 1981, they were married in St Paul’s Cathedral, London. Diana gave birth to two sons: Prince William (June 21, 1982), and Prince Henry (September 15, 1984). Pictures of the Wedding In December 1992 a separation was announced, following which Diana continued to give active support to charities caring for homeless and deprived children, and AIDS victims. Following her appearance in a television interview in December 1995, she was urged by the Queen to proceed with a formal divorce from Charles: negotiations for this began early in 1996, and a decree nisi was granted in July. The couple were formally divorced on August 28, 1996; Diana kept her title as Princess of Wales. She made a visit to Angola in January 1997, in support of a Red Cross campaign to ban landmines, which was criticized by some politicians. Her husband and children

4 Princess Diana's life ended suddenly on August 31,1997 in a car crash in France, while being chased by the paparazzi. At the time of her death she was with Dodi Fayed. The car that Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed were in was leaving the Ritz Hotel and traveling to a Paris villa. However, it crashed inside a tunnel near the hotel. One eyewitness reported that a motorcycle cut in front of the car before the car hit the inside of the tunnel. However, when French prosecutors took postmortem tests, it showed that the driver of the car, Henri Paul, had a blood alcohol level that was three times the legal limit in France. 5 The reasons why I have chosen Princess Diana are that:-
She was kind for she helpsed a lot of people. Although she was a Princess she was humble. She helped Mother Theresa with her charity work, taking care of people especially AIDS victims. She loved her children a lot. She was a very pretty and elegant woman.

6 Young people can learn a lot from her like to help each other
Young people can learn a lot from her like to help each other. It doesn't matter if he/she is rich or poor because we are all the same. We need to help sick people and then without knowing we could make them happy, even if we just talk to them or maybe play with them.
