2.  A/ THE MONARCHY The monarchy of the United Kingdom is hereditary. The Queen is the sovereign of the United Kingdom and its overseas territories. It was originally Executive, judicial and legislative powers. At the present time, the estate is given to male heirs. In other words, the son of the monarch inherits before daughters, the oldest to the youngest.

3.  Elizabeth II was 27 years old, when she became the Queen of Great Britain and Ireland at the Abbey of Westminster, in London. She came after her father, King George VI,.
