2 Monday (Mon.) WU: No warm up today/Labor Day

3 Tuesday (Tues.) 9-5-17 EQ: How is density of a material determined?
WU: What is the difference between weight and mass? Ans: Weight is the measure of the force of gravity on an object while mass is a measurement of the amount of matter in an object.

4 Wednesday (Wed.) WU: What unit is used to measure the properties of matter? Ans: 1: Scientist use the International System of Units (SI). 2: The SI unit for mass is the kilogram(kg.) for larger objects and grams(g.) for smaller objects.

5 Thursday (Thurs.) 9-7-17 WU: What is volume?
Ans: 1: Volume is the amount of space that matter occupies. 2: Volume is measured in the SI units of liter(L.), milliliter(mL.), and cubic centimeter(cm.)

6 Friday (Fri.) WU: How do you find the volume of a regular shaped object verses an irregular shaped object? Ans:1: For a regular shaped object you multiple the Length (x) Width (x) Height. 2: If it is an irregular shaped object you submerge the object in cylinder of water.
