1 Bridge to Biology: Abiotic-Biotic Project
Learning Goal The student will be able to analyze how population size is determined by births, deaths, immigration, emigration, and limiting factors (biotic and abiotic) that determine carrying capacity. Learning Targets Use data and information about population dynamics, abiotic factors, and/or biotic factors to explain and/or analyze a change in carrying capacity and its effect on population size in an ecosystem. Describe the potential changes to an ecosystem resulting from seasonal variations, climate changes, and/or succession. Identify positive and/or negative consequences that result from a reduction in biodiversity.

2 Bridge to Biology: Abiotic-Biotic Project
Project Directions Choose one of the projects listed on handout Project should demonstrate an understanding of how organisms & populations in an ecosystem depend on and may compete for abiotic & biotic factors. You may choose to work alone or with 1 additional student Project will be presented 5/ minute presentation To Get Started Read through Abiotic & Biotic Presentation located on website either using computer or personal device Presentation Located in Quarter 4 Activities, Bridge To Biology: Abiotic-Biotic Presentation
