3. [Find Worker] Worker Register
Finding existing Workers within Vault is made easy, thanks to Smart Search and My Filters functionality
Workers are stored within the Worker Register
This can be found under People in the Menu Bar

4. [Find Worker] Browsing the Register
The Worker Register shows key, summary information about each recorded Worker
We can browse the register by scrolling through the table and using the page controls at the bottom of the screen
The number of entries shown on one screen can be altered to suit your preference by making adjustments in the Filters Sidebar

5. [Find Worker] Sorting the Register
To sort the order of the register to suit your requirements, click the column headers
For example, to sort by Position, simply click the Position column header
Click it again to toggle between ascending or descending alphabetical order

6. [Find Worker] Smart Search
Smart Search makes light work of finding a particular individual or group of Workers that match certain criteria
To find a particular Worker using his or her name, simply begin typing the Worker’s name into the Smart Search box
With each keystroke, Vault intelligently narrows down the results to only those entries that match
We can do the same thing with any information, for example Employee No.

7. [Find Worker] Additional Smart Search Controls
Additional Smart Search controls are available to filter results to only those matching specific criteria
For example, to find only Workers supervised by a particular person, click the arrow to reveal available parameters
Select Supervisor to restrict search results to only that field, and enter the name
Only workers with this supervisor are now shown

For even finer control, we can use more than one parameter
For example, to find people supervised by a particular person and who also work in a particular department, select Supervisor and enter the Supervisor’s name, then click Department, and type the department name
Now, only people that match both parameters are found

9. [Find Worker] Find Archived Workers
Additional controls are available in the Filters Sidebar
To find Archived Workers, tick the Show Archived People check-box, then perform a search to find a specific archived person, or simply click Apply to show all Archived Workers

10. [Find Worker] My Filters
To save time frequently performing the same search, Vault provides the ability to save search criteria using My Filters
Simply select the criteria for the filter, choose a meaningful name, and click Save
Now, performing this search is just a single click away.

11. [Find Worker] Hiding the Filters Sidebar
To hide the Filters Sidebar, click the back-facing arrow toward the top of the screen
Click it again to restore it

12. [Find Worker] Viewing Worker Record
Once the right Worker is found, to view their full record details, click Actions, then View, or click on the Worker’s Employee ID
