At least 18 neighborhood, campus, and city plans already exist that inform the direction for the University District

25% more residents projected for the District by 2030 (more growth than for City as a whole)
31% more households and 15% more jobs
U student enrollment expected to remain stable

Low rates of foreclosure; increasing property values
Very low vacancy rate; continued private sector development interest
Major infrastructure projects planned that may further attract development

Deep pride in historic buildings, historic and diverse character, and long-standing community institutions; great mix of history with youthful energy
