1 A sentence-creating exercise to thrill your reader!
Ba-Da-Bing!!! A sentence-creating exercise to thrill your reader!

2 Problem: Writer can see it, but the reader can’t. Solution: Ba-da-bing!

3 Ba-da-bing! Think of a specific moment in your life, and I’ll show you a trick. Write a sentence with these three parts: Where did your feet go? What did you see? And, what did you think at that moment?

4 Ba-da-bing! Now you try one!
When I went into the kitchen, I saw my mom at the stove, stirring a pot, “Mmmmm,” I thought, “Chili!” Now you try one!

5 Ba-da-bing! How many of these would you want in your essay?
Could you change the eye to other senses? Did you use another word other than “walked”?

6 Ba-da-bing! When I stepped out onto the stage, I could hear the audience clapping, “What was I so afraid of?” I thought, “This is fun!”

7 What did you see (smell, hear, taste or touch/feel)?
