6 Means of Consolidation
Centralization New School District Created encompassing existing boundaries Districts must be contiguous New Board of Education Superintendent is chosen by new Board Local Examples- Moriah, North Warren Annexation No new District, One is dissolved and becomes part of the other Annexing District assumes all assets and liabilities Must be contiguous Local Examples- Hague, Dannemora
