As always, HAR will provide you with updated coverage in The EDGE.

The EDGE Information and news that gives you an edge in the real estate business Houston Market Movements With spring comes the welcoming of another season: the annual springtime seller’s market. Low inventory levels nationwide are inching sales prices higher and dropping the number of days that homes are staying on the market. With interest rates remaining unexpectedly low, there is even more incentive for buyers to competitively bid on new listings. In the Houston region, for the week ending March 27: • New Listings decreased 3.1% to 2,416 • Pending Sales increased 13.6% to 2,016 • Closed Sales decreased 17.5% to 1,349

The class will cover each paragraph to be sure the student can explain it (without practicing law without a license). Each fill-in-the-blank will be covered, along with how the agent can be sure the information is correct. Confusion about negotiable items will be covered. Time frames will be discussed and reinforced. Areas where agents routinely error will be emphasized. Contracts 201 The contract included in this class is the 1-4 Family Residential Contract (Resale). The class will cover each paragraph to be sure the student can explain it (without practicing law without a license). Each fill-in-the-blank will be covered, along with how the agent can be sure the information is correct. Confusion about negotiable items will be covered. Time frames will be discussed and reinforced. Areas where agents routinely error will be emphasized.
